Spring is almost HERE!

spring 2010

” Happiness? The colour of it

must be spring green…”

~Frances Mayes.

Spring on the farm is  unlike Spring in the City…Its a lot more muddy and…

  • busy preparing for planting

  • preparing for  our market
  • lots of (house) spring cleaning
  • keeping away from mud puddles and NOT getting the car stuck

  • organizing
  • new baby calf’s

  • gardening

  • waiting for asparagus

  • picking asparagus

[with 2 crazy babies]

  • Transplanting veggies {behind a bumpy tractor}
  • Antique finds

You will always find us busy, busy, on the farm this time of year.

Keep checking in for more post and photos (and maybe even a video or two) of the veggies being planted…veggie up-dates and of course some yummy recipes.

Our Market opens FULL-TIME in June…However, we will be open as soon as the asparagus is up. Which is usually beginning of May.
