Spring is almost HERE!
” Happiness? The colour of it
must be spring green…”
~Frances Mayes.
Spring on the farm is unlike Spring in the City…Its a lot more muddy and…
-
busy preparing for planting
- preparing for our market
-
lots of (house) spring cleaning -
keeping away from mud puddles and NOT getting the car stuck
-
organizing -
new baby calf’s
-
gardening
-
waiting for asparagus
-
picking asparagus
[with 2 crazy babies]
Transplanting veggies {behind a bumpy tractor}
Our Market opens FULL-TIME in June…However, we will be open as soon as the asparagus is up. Which is usually beginning of May.
Antique finds
You will always find us busy, busy, on the farm this time of year.
Keep checking in for more post and photos (and maybe even a video or two) of the veggies being planted…veggie up-dates and of course some yummy recipes.
