Cute little veggies, with a big taste!
Stuff them, roast them, grill them, eat them raw. My favourite way to eat them is so simply to prepare.
Wash! Trim off the stem, slice, toss in a pan. Add butter & garlic (or oil of choice). Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on the patty pans. I saute until golden in colour and the garlic and parm cheese becomes a golden colour.
The patty pans will melt in your mouth.
