The Farm Women of Halton are excited to host TWO Open Farm Days, September 16th & 17th. 10am-4pm
“Growing food, family and community, we are the Farm Women of Halton.”
Take a scenic self-guided tour and discover 6 Halton farms.
Visit with the animals, pick some juicy apples, check out a demonstration bee hive,
enjoy the sweet scent of lavender, harvested and processed into a variety of products. You may even get a head start on your holiday gift shopping. Oh, and don’t forget to check out the COMBINE!

We encourage you to ask questions, learn and enjoy the bounty of our beautiful farms. We take pride in what we do and want to share that with you and your family!

Visit any or all 6 of the Farm Women’s farms and be entered into a draw based on # of visits for a beautiful Halton harvest gift baskets. Simply have your postcard stamped/signed by each location.

What they offer: 

Delicious honey and maple syrup products for sale and for sample. Working demonstration bee hive with sample bee keeping equipment and maple syrup production. baby goats and chickens for viewing.

 

Don’t forget about our all natural soaps, lip balms, body products, as well as pure bees wax candles.

Mabel May Farms

Busy Liz: Garlic, and a display of cash crops – plus a combine to explore!

Belbeck’s Family Farm (On location with Busy Liz): 

Guests can expect to meet some of our Rent The Chicken hens and learn how to get farm-fresh eggs from their own backyard, almost anywhere!  We will also have information on our naturally-raised, pastured meats and will be taking orders for our fresh Thanksgiving turkeys.

Farm Rules: As we are not a Pick-your-own farm, we have the normal rules that apply to any retail shop.

We will be picking MacIntosh, Gala, Cortland and Spartans. Ready-picked Honey Crisp will be available in the Market. Also in the market are fresh Apple Cider, Harvest Goodies products, and delicious baked goods made from scratch. Complimentary wagon rides for people who show a FWOH passport.

Admission Fees? No admission fee. Normally access to our orchard is restricted to Pick Your Own customers. On Open Farm Day others can enter and participate in an Apple Trivia Quiz
